Edibles vs smoking: onset, duration and control

Most of the confusion around how to edibles vs smoking comes from labels rather than from the product. Here is what the labels are actually telling you. Everything below reflects how we ship at WC Cannabis: tracked Canada-wide delivery, free over $200.00, and Interac e-Transfer or Bitcoin at checkout.

Edibles vs smoking in three minutes

1. Pick a format and a grade that match how you actually consume.
2. Compare price per gram across sizes rather than sticker price.
3. Build the cart past $200.00 to drop the shipping fee.
4. Pay by e-Transfer, or by Bitcoin for an automatic 15% off.
5. Watch for the tracking email once the label is scanned.

Dosing without a bad night

Start at 5 mg if you are new, 10 mg if you are not, and wait a full two hours before taking more. Onset runs 45-120 minutes depending on what you ate, and effects last four to eight hours.

Reading the label properly

The number that matters is milligrams per piece, not per package. A 500 mg bag divided into 20 pieces is a 25 mg dose per gummy — two and a half standard servings.

Shipping, cost and timing

Orders that clear payment before the afternoon cut-off are packed the same business day. Tracking is emailed automatically as soon as the parcel is scanned.

Is it legal?

Yes, for adults of legal age in their province. The federal Cannabis Act sets a 30 gram public possession limit for dried flower or its equivalent, and each province sets the minimum age (18, 19 or 21). Age verification happens before checkout completes.
